All metal fans will find something to like here. Each track feels and sounds unique. Dawn of Existence does not musically pigeon-hole themselves and play whatever they want.
I also like the production. I hear too many self-produced albums that either sound over-engineered or not engineered at all. This EP has that "just right" blend of clarity and grit, with strong vocals, scorching guitars, lush keys, solid drums, and bone-crunching bass. As a bass player myself, I love that.
Favorite track: Mystic Serpent.
